'Torture' is a synth-heavy ballad. It came together very quickly. I wrote it and had the demo done in about 2 weeks. For some reason, instead of just finishing it, I shelved it for a year. It was originally written as a duet with a female. The verses are suppose to go back and forth between the male and female voices, then the ending they intertwine. That version will be finished and posted sometime in the future, just not sure when. The story behind the song is about meeting someone you make a connection with and know that you're suppose to be with, but, under the circumstances, it's never going to happen. I didn't really have this movie in mind when I wrote it, but if you have seen 'The Bridges of Madison County', you get the drift. |
You're haunting my dreams It tortures me so much Every since I have seen your face It doesn’t matter what we want It tortures me so much
It tortures me so much |
