'Sinister as the Serpent' is a story about a serial killer that compares his sinister attributes to that of attibures of different snakes.

This song was inspired by 'The Jungle Book' cartoon. I recall I was watching the scene where Kaa is chatting with Mowgli and the inspiration struck me. I don't remember the exact dialog, but the title of the song came from it as well as the verse about the python. From there, I just thought about different snake attributes and how a mentally unstable killer could compare himself to those attributes.

Don't walk alone after dark
Think twice before strolling in the park
I'm the stranger that slithers through the shadows
You don't show your fear; I sense it's there

Did you ever have that feeling that you're being watched?
Now you know who's doing the watching
You don't show you fear, I sense it's there

I possess the essential part of the cobra, his eyes
With just a single glance you'll be mesmerized
You won't realize until it's too late
There won't be any chance for an escape

My hands are like the coils of the python
Which can easily squeeze out your life until it is gone
Or I may hold my prey for a little teasing
And gradually take your like with a playful squeezing

I'm sinister as the serpent
My strikes are always precise
A cold-blooded maniac
Searching for my next sacrifice

The vipers' fangs are a good comparison with my knife
With one swift cut I can steal your petty life
Injecting poison into your veins
You haven't any idea what my evil mind contains

I have a heart but it stopped caring when I was young
It feels no guilt or remorse but joy for the things I have done
Pumping wave of pleasure throughout me
Giving total orgasmic ecstasy

I'm sinister as the serpent
My strikes are always precise
A cold-blooded maniac
Searching for my next sacrifice
