'Sick Puppet Show' is a story about a well-respected man in his community but he has a dark and evil pedophilc side.

The main character is a combination of two different people.
The first is the serial killer John Wayne Gacy. For those unfamiliar with John, he was a very well-respected man in Chicago in the 70's. He was an admired businessman and worked to make his community a better place by doing such things as volunteering for the Jaycees and dressing as a clown to entertain sick kids in the hospital. But he had a dark side no one imagined; a fetish for young men. He would meet his victims, drug them, have sadistic sex with them and then kill them. When all was said and done, he had killed over 30 victims.
The second is my 2nd cousin Merlin. He also had a fetish for the youngsters. In a small town in Minnesota, his family acquired a furniture store that had an old movie theater attached to it. Merlin fixed it up and started showing movies to the kids of the town. Everyone thought Merlin was such a good guy and so good with the kids, but they never realized how good he was with them. While Merlin didn't kill anyone, he was involved with child pornography. He's rotting away in prison now.
The song tells the story of this man and how he perpetrates his crime.

I secretly admire them then I plan my strategy
Luring them into my playground with a voice so trusting and soft
But behind closed doors is when my Hyde gets off

I serve a drink to my young naive subjects
And then I wait patiently while the tranquilizer takes its effect
Watching my little friend as he starts to sedate
He's so eager now he wants to be my playmate

We play a little game in which we explore
I'll show you mine when you show me yours
Ever so slowly breaking down a little boys' inhibitions
His inebriated mind is to the point of submission

All of my boys are very photographic
And I find my pleasure because the pictures are so pornographic
Their naive bodies lost in a painless suffering
My quality work brings the highest price a publishing
