'Everything that Begins...' is a story of a man that is no longer in love and can no longer pretend he is happy in his situation.

The inspiration of this song was just that feeling of no longer being in love. No one particular situation inspired the lyrics; just accumulation of past experiencs and obseving other people's situations.
The main keyboard riff was written while I was checking out the XP-60 at the music store. After I write the riff, I just had to have it to finish the song.
